Reuters/New York-   Former Governor of New Jersey and U.S. Senator, Jon Corzine allegedly invested more than a half billion dollars, belonging to customers of his New York futures brokerage firm, in a start up company selling atomic toothbrushes.  Ads for the toothbrushes, which have been endorsed by an obscure rock band, have been appearing in publications ranging from the Wall Street Urinal TM to Vogue.  According to reports from insiders, Atomic Toothbrush Industry was close to an agreement with solar panel manufacturer, Solyndra, on a joint project to design and build a solar-powered toothbrush.

Jon Corzine, former MF Global and Goldman Sachs executive, is pictured a year ago touring Groovy Industries, a firm specializing in eco-friendly "vinyl technology." At the time, MF Global, a New York futures brokerage, was considering a $100 million investment in the manufacturer, a subsidiary of BMNR Inc.
